While Sense8 is known for its depiction of LGBTQ+ relationships, the relationship between Nomi and Amanita was beautiful and demonstrated the beauty and connection possible between two queer women. The show was created by the Wachowski sisters, who identify as transgender women and are leading filmmakers/showrunners.
