The Rainbow Families Halloween Disco is back again, bigger and better than ever!
Get set for an afternoon of great grooves and good times as Rainbow Families take over the main hall at Addison Road Community Centre to serve up wicked tunes and spooky shenanigans for the whole family.
This annual LGBTIQ family event is open to the whole family, kids, parents, grandparents, and extended family. There will be two jumping castles (one for kids under five and one for older kids and teens), a kinda farm, face painters and the Eat Art Food Truck that will provide food and soft drink for purchase.
Rainbow Families Co-chair Vanessa Gonzalez said, “Each year lesbian mums, gay dads, trans parents, adoptive parents, foster parents and all types of rainbow families come together at the Halloween Disco to meet other LGBTIQ families, make new friends and celebrate.”
Expect to hear songs that will get both you and the kids on the dance floor with the wonderful Kate Monroe returning to man the decks! The huge outdoor grass area will be available, so bring your picnic blankets as well as your dancing shoes, and of course make sure you are dressed up in your scariest Halloween costume.
