Which woman doesn’t know a fellow woman whose life has been touched in some way by breast cancer?
Which Australian woman doesn’t know who Jane McGrath is, what she stood for or about the foundation named in her honor? The McGrath Foundation relies on the donations of generous Australians. One such woman, is Bobby, convener of the lesbian social group Women Who Love Women. Bobby has taken it upon herself to organize a womens only Fundraiser: 50 Shades of Pink
Irrelevant of whether you battle the disease yourself or watch your Mother, Sister, Aunt or friend fight the good fight, you cannot deny that undergoing treatment for breast cancer (or any cancer for that matter) requires not only a strength of self and solid familiar support team, but also the appropriate medical care provided by the right people. The McGrath foundation aims to provide well-educated and supportive Breast Care Nurses to the woman and families undergoing treatment, who are proving to be invaluable.
Even without good cause aspect of the evening, this night is going to go off! With a stellar line-up of bands including Emma Wall and the Urban Folk as well as DJ Blazen, raffles, cocktails, best dressed awards and the mandatory dance floor to shake your thang on Bobby and the girls will not disappoint!
