The Daily Beast noting that Falco plays Jackie “a bit butch” and that she has a large lesbian fanbase
Well, we’ve been spoiled by Jane Lynch.
It seems the press desperately wants another funny, blond, middle-aged TV star to come out of the closet.
Or so it seemed when Falco (Carmela from The Sopranos, Nurse Jackie) was interviewed by The Daily Beast and quizzed about her marital status.
Falco responde, “It’s thrilling. Maybe it’s because my character on Nurse Jackie doesn’t take a lot of s**t. Not that that means that’s a lesbian thing.”
But then The Beast asked the question we possibly would like the answer to.
“Have you ever buttered that side of your toast?” “I beg your pardon!” said Falco. “I am so not going there. Wow. I’ve never heard it put that way either. But no. I’m afraid I like boys.” Damn shame.
