And no, our queer little hearts cannot contain their excitement
Writer of the hit teen show, Brian E. Paterson, has confirmed on his Twitter account that fans can expect more bisexual scenes in the last few episodes of the season.
Don’t fret, Choni fans — there is some really good stuff coming in our final few episodes. Hang in there. #Riverdale

Riverdale’s reigning no BS queen, Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch), and Serpent member, Toni Topaz (Vanessa Morgan), both came out as bisexual in the current season. One in a nonchalant, “I’m here, and queer, and so what?” fashion – the other in an emotional scene that tugged our little queer heartstrings.
Their friendship turned into romance after Cheryl’s mother attempted to lock her away in the creepy Sisters Of Quiet Mercy – a secret gay conversion therapy camp. Toni, along with our other favourite Riverdale lass, Veronica, breaks in to save Cheryl a la James Bond style, whilst wearing an amazing catsuit (I’ll take one in every colour please). And of course, the rescuer and rescuee share a passionate and epic first kiss that sent Twitter on a rampage.

Not only is this a moment for #Choni fans to relish in their OTP, but it’s also an opportunity for the bisexual community to celebrate getting some more representation in TV Land – especially on a popular show like Riverdale.
