Over The Rainbow Vegetarian Country Retreat Cardigan Bay is a secluded retreat run by women, which has been welcoming the LGBT community since 2003. We are situated only three miles from the west Wales coast in a restored Georgian mansion, nestled amongst acres of woodland and gardens with idyllic views across the rolling Welsh countryside.

We have hosted many civil partnership ceremonies and gay weddings in the past. In fact, we are pleased to confirm that Over The Rainbow is a registered venue, so if you are looking for a unique venue to hire exclusively for an intimate civil ceremony, look no further.

Women’s Walking Holiday 26-31 May
Enjoy five days of freedom exploring the coast and coutryside on this women-only guided holiday. With guided walks led by Al Evans in Pembrokeshire and Ceredigon. Discover a shell house grotto, a hidden Lloyd George mansion, woodland waterfalls, a working woollen mill, unspoilt beaches, 'Bird's Rock' clifftop look out and the Devil's Bridge. There will also be a dolphin watching boat trip and a steam train ride through the hillsides.
Women’s Writing Retreat: Write Here Write Now with Victoria Villasenor 2 -8 July 2017
The next chapter of your writing journey starts here. Write that story you've had inside you for ages. Pick up that project you set aside, or take the one you've been working on to the next stage. Join us for a week of writing master classes in an inspirational setting and make your writing what you want it to be.
This is your chance to learn, craft, write. Create and find your voice. This retreat is an intensive creative experience for women who want to learn more about writing and how to improve on their work. Beginners and experienced writers welcome.
The workshop is led by long-time development editor and multi-published author Victoria Villasenor, alongside multi-published author and photographer, Nicci Robinson.
