Tim Arnold releases the video for his equality anthem.
Last year, Iggy Pop compared the music of Tim Arnold to David Bowe. This year, taking pride in his unique background as a straight, mixed raced son of lesbian parentage, Arnold has written the leading song for his next album as a response to the diverse and for some, frightening times we are living in.
When writing the song, Arnold was inspired both by Emma Watson's He For She campaign and Stephen Fry's seminal speech on the Catholic Church's condemnation of gay people.
In lyrics that challenge all those who threaten it, What Love Would Want is a beautiful, poetic anthem that champions diversity and love without barriers or shame.
Legendary comedian, actor and activist Stephen Fry and his husband Elliot Spencer graciously accepted Arnold's invitation to appear in the video alongside other couples who are straight, gay, lesbian, transgender, mixed race and interracial.
To commemorate International Anti Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia Day, the video was launched on the 17th May 2017. Watch the video below! #whatwouldlovewant
