Satin curtains, plush seats and flickering tea lights set the mood as you lightly touch fingertips with an attractive woman across the table. You’ve just met but after some excellent conversation you can already tell that there’s something special about her. You’re gaze lingers on her lips and just as you’re thinking it, she leans in for that ever-anticipated first kiss. Sound like a scene you might be interested in? Yes?
Project Q, an events and listings for queer women in NYC, thought so too. Which is why they brought you the first kiss video of queer women kissing and now they want to bring you your ‘first kiss’ as well!
They’re teaming up with Posture Magazine to bring you the “Meet Your First Kiss Party” on Sunday, May 25th at 9pm at the Delancey. Enjoy rotating DJs, dancing, cocktails, never-before-seen footage from the “Queer Women Kissing” video and even a kissing booth! Even if you’re in a relationship or just not on the prowl (they’ll have colored wristbands signifying your relationship status), you’ll enjoy this fun-filled evening.
This is an event for the entire LGBTQ community and its allies, as well as a fundraiser for Project Q and Posture Magazine, two community-oriented and queer media startups. Come out for the fun but also to support two projects bringing the LGBTQ community together!
