A new clip from Freeheld has just been released as the film expands to additional cities today. The scene features Julianne Moore as the real-life Laurel Hester asking local county officials to grant her request to leave her pension to her domestic partner Stacie Andree, played by Ellen Page.
Freeheld is expanding to additional markets including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Miami-Ft. Lauderdale, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland (OR), San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington, DC, and West Palm Beach.
