This milestone event will be filled with singing, stories, special celebrity guests and more!
Broadway Sings For Pride will premiere their 6th anniversary benefit concert this June as part of Pride month.
Launched in June 2011, Broadway Sings for Pride grew out of the tragic suicides within the LGBTQ community.
Staged concerts and events bring to light the challenges faced in the LGBT community, and funds raised from Broadway Sings For Pride helps aid LGBTQ youth and their families.
This multiple award winning is a non-for-profit organization that brings together Broadway talent, activists and celebrities to educate the public, raise awareness of the needs of LGBTQ youth, and support young people so that they may reach their full potential.
This year’s one night only benefit event is entitled “Ovation” and will feature the best performers in the realm of film, television and theater! Big names already confirmed include Bebe Neuwirth, Suze Orman, and Patricia Velasquez.
When: Monday June 20, 2016, 8PM
Where: JCC Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Avenue at West 76th Street
