Show your Pride this August in Jersey City!
The 16th annual Jersey City LGBT Pride Festival will be kicked off on August 18, 2016 with Pride Week being initiated by Mayor of Jersey City Steven Fulop at the Jersey City Flag raising and press conference. The flag raising will be followed by a Meet and Greet Mixer sponsored by the New Jersey Democratic LGBT Caucus and the Hudson County Young Democrats.
Co-hosted by Gayborhood Jersey City and Humanity Pride Productions, the Pride Festival is a constant expression of Jersey City’s vow to continue to embody acceptance and the diversity that strengthens its LGBTQIA community and allies.
Jersey City is one of the most diverse cities and home of the largest LGBTQIA community in the state. Over 9,000 attendees from all over the Hudson County and New York metropolitan area showed their pride last year, making it one of the largest festivals in Northern New Jersey.
The festival will showcase an amazing line-up of entertainment while exemplifying the strength and growth of our LGBT and allied communities.
