Meet Cute, a contemporary media company that makes highly produced, scripted short-form audio rom-coms, is honoring Pride Month with brand new storytelling to celebrate.
Acknowledging Pride festivals not taking place this year as a result of Covid-19 Meet Cute’s content will serve as an immersive audio experience that focuses on providing happiness and hope synonymous with the rom-com genre.
Continuing with the Meet Cute formula, each story will have the same unique format of five 3-minute chapters that takes listeners from Meet Cute to Happily Ever After in 15 minutes.
Listeners can find Meet Cute podcast available to listen to on Apple, Spotify, Soundcloud and Google podcast; the content will be released as follows:
- Monday (6/1): Summertime (“where two ladies meet at a jazz bar and the livin gets just a little easier.”)
- Wednesday (6/3): Some of the Right Notes (“where Nick and Todd kill time at an open call audition and a budding romance comes to life.”)
- Friday (6/5): What I Miss Most (“where two seniors in an assisted living facility find unexpected companionship.”)
- Saturday (6/6): See U Next Weekend (“where Sophie meets retired punk rocker Levi while working the same catering gig and gets her to sing a different tune on love”)
“There are many things out of our control right now, but one thing we can control is celebrating human connection and love stories in all forms. The core of our mission is having every person feel like they are reflected in Meet Cute stories and to that end, we have spent a lot of time and thought into our lineup of stories for Pride Month and Pride-themed events on our socials,” said Meet Cute CEO Naomi Shah.
