Director Tim Maddock will helm the piece which tells the story of a small rural community that has been devastated by an unspeakable crime. Months later, in her studio many miles away, a successful architect (Marta Dusseldorp) is preparing to present her plans for a memorial to the tragedy when the unexpected arrival of a visitor, the mother of one of the victims (Anita Hegh), interrupts proceedings. On this night, two extraordinary women collide, waging a personal battle between religious faith and humanism, grief and commemoration – a battle of ideology that will change both of their lives.
