Leaving Elizabeth, promises to reveal all on the vagaries of love.
Youth theatre company Y-Glam delivers covering tales of love lost and found, in a new production Leaving Elizabeth on show at the Meat Market in Melbourne.
Haunted by the memory of a lost love, a girl travels across the Australian outback, the glaciers of South America and deep into the Amazon jungle to try and forget.
Meanwhile, a Malaysian boy sits in his room looking for love through his smart phone, too terrified to ‘come out’, reach out and make true human contact.
Marrying physical theatre, projections and original music, Leaving Elizabeth shares two tales of being dumped, being scared and sometimes… finding the ‘one’.
For FIVE SHOWS ONLY from 11 to 15 September, Y-GLAM Queer Youth Theatre proudly bring you Leaving Elizabeth. Y-GLAM Queer Youth Theatre is a program of Merri Community Health Services and open to all people aged 14 to 25 who are same sex attracted or gender diverse.
