Award-winning Philadelphia native musician, Christine Havrilla, who has shared stages with such artists as Brandi Carlile, Chely Wright, Janis Ian, & Melissa Ferrick, brings her well-built, catchy, smart tunes to audiences everywhere.
However, she, along with many other independent artists, is sharing those tunes virtually in 2020.
Feeling the effects of not touring because of Covid, coupled with a cancer diagnosis earlier this year, Christine has stayed connected with fans by performing livestream concerts and festivals from home as well as create new content through Official Lyric Videos! Songs released as Official Lyric Videos so far include “Fortune Teller”, “Sing”, “Driving Fast & Far Away”, “Four Leaf Clover”, “Sunless Escapade”, and “Said It Once”, with the last two being created and edited by fellow musician, Scot Sax.
In addition to releasing 13 albums and 2 EPs, Christine’s full band, Christine Havrilla & Gypsy Fuzz, also released a quarantine video of the song “Desire” where each member recorded audio and video from their home studio and edited it together.
This video was picked up by WHYY (PBS) for its House Concert Series and the single, “…a jagged rocker reminiscent of Sheryl Crow and Bonnie Raitt,” (John Vettese of WXPN’s The Key) is now available for download on Goldenrod Music.
As the world continues to figure out and adjust to the Covid crisis, you can find Christine online sharing her music until she can return in person and share a live experience at a venue near you!
Check her out on Facebook Live on December 6th at 4 PM (EST).
