The film depicts the rich history of legendary Provincetown’s Women’s Week.
Award winning filmmaker Andrea Meyerson’s new documentary Clambake will be making its Los Angeles premiere in August.
Clambake follows the 30-year journey of Provincetown’s Women’s Week from its inception to becoming today’s thriving lesbian mecca for artists, entertainers, innkeepers, sunseekers, and women who value lesbian culture.
It features an impressive list of performers, comics, and commentators including Kate Clinton, Suzanne Westenhoefer, Jessica Kirson, Karen Williams, and many more.
This fascinating film makes use of archival footage and photos, interviews with celebrities and founders, and current performances to offer a historical and hysterical look at what a handful of innovative women can accomplish when they unite.

Presented by The Los Angeles LGBT Center and StandOut Productions, this special event on Sunday August 21 will feature a Q & A with cast members Suzanne Westenhoefer, Jennie McNulty, and will be moderated by special guest Meredith Baxter.
VIP ticket holders will have the opportunity to attend a pre-screening, catered reception with cast, crew and special guests, as well as have preferred seating, receive a Clambake gift, and attend a hosted afterparty.
Plus, all attendees can purchase raffle tickets for great prizes!
Prizes for women include a trip to Provincetown for Women’s Week (October 10-16, 2016) in the company of famed lesbian social network Women on a Roll.
Men can enter to win a three-night stay at Anchor Inn Beach House in Provincetown.
Raffle tickets are $10 for one, $25 for three, and $50 for ten tickets.
