This survey for the LGBT African-American community in Los Angeles aims to educate others while giving the community a voice.
Los Angeles Black Pride (LABP) is urging all African-American same-gender loving people in the Los Angeles county to complete a short survey online. The results will be used to educate both political leaders and the broader community on the issues important to African-American LGBT people in Los Angeles. The survey also aims to give the local African-American LGBT community a voice in national, state, and local current events.
The study will include a survey that analyzes data from participants including demographics, issues, and concerns of L.A.’s African-American lesbian and gay community. The report will be released during Los Angeles Black Pride’s annual pride celebration taking place June 30 through July 4.
