Watch interviews with the winners of HBO’s ¢â¬ËGet Suited’ contest.
In June, Lena Dunham’s new HBO documentary Suited introduced the world to Brooklyn based bespoke tailoring company Bindle & Keep.
Bindle & Keep caters to a diverse LGBTQ community, looking beyond the gender binary to create custom-made suits for gender non-conforming and transgender clients. The documentary follows LGBTQ subjects through the process of finding well-fitting clothes while also looking beyond the gender binary in the fashion world.
In a show of support for Suited, HBO created the ‘Get Suited’ contest. LGBTQ youth submitted videos for the chance to win a trip to New York City, attend the Suited premiere with Lena Dunham, and also receive a custom suit created by documentary subject Bindle & Keep.
Three winners were chosen and interviewed following the premiere and receiving their new custom suits. Watch the interviews for winners Jaehla, Will, and Brennen below.
