Queer Booth’ creator Jo Webber’s photo app caters specifically to the LGBT community.

‘Queer Booth’ is the brainchild of noted lesbian social media maven and activist Jo Webber.

The photo app, which  will release it’s 1.2 version soon, allows users to take a selfie and then dress up in a variety of different clothes, accessories and fun options that are identified as queer-oriented.

Webber said, “There are a variety of looks that can be chosen within the app, everything from bear to femme to fetish.”

The idea for the app came to Webber in 2012, and even though this was her first foray into the app development world, her years of tech experience working for Google and other companies helped her launch the project successfully.

“I self-funded the project, which really turned into several years’ worth of work to make it happen,” she said.

Webber, who starred in the London-based lesbian reality show, Candy Bar Girls in 2011, has been a social activist for the LGBT community for many years.

In the future, Webber plans on developing partnerships with LGBT based fashion companies to expand the app’s potential.

‘Queer Booth’ can be downloaded from the iPhone App Store for free today.
