Kelly leaned in and kissed Becca, finding she still heated her to the core…
The Journey Somewhere by Suzie Carr is a very well written and truly wonderful sequel to “Tangerine Twist”. It is not imperative that you read this before you read The Journey Somewhere as Suzie Carr intertwines flashbacks that allow readers to know the story of the main characters, Becca James and Kelly Copeland and the dynamics of their relationship as it was in the first book of the series.
In The Journey Somewhere, we now find want-to-be photographer, Kelly Copeland, with her life now stable, a loyal fiancée, a home and work. Then her ex-girlfriend, the famous musician, Becca James, offers Kelly an opportunity of a lifetime, photographing her documentary tour. Everything will change if Kelly takes this offer, it will lead her, a long way away from the stable and easy life she enjoys now.
The characters are extremely realistic; with the internal conflicts of Kelly and Becca not glossed over, allowing the readers to relate to them both.
You have to read the entire novel to find out what happens with Becca and Kelly as it keeps you guessing until the very last chapter.
Suzie Carr is immensely gifted, with The Journey Somewhere and her other books showing a passion for the written word. With six bestsellers in the lesbian romance and lesbian fiction genres, she writes about the beauty of women falling in love with each other.
