Funds raised during the Champions for Charity benefit will go towards the LGBT Network’s vital community programs.
Looking to check off your holiday shopping list and do some good for the LGBT community at the same time? This year, you can support The LGBT Networkby participating in the Champions for Charity shopping benefit at the Americana Manhasset and Wheatley Plaza stores on Long Island, taking place from Thursday, December 3 through Sunday, December 6, during store hours.
Funds raised during the Champions for Charity benefit will go towards the LGBT Network's vital community programs, like our Safe Schools Initiative to stop bullying, our Center Families program that is helping LGBT people start and build their own families, and our health and wellness services working to end HIV/AIDS.
This annual holiday shopping benefit, which includes over 70 Americana Manhasset and select Wheatley Plaza stores, will designate 25% of your full-price pre-tax purchases to the LGBT Network, automatically, upon checkout. All you have to do is sign up and designate The LGBT Network as your organization of choice at www.championsforcharity.org and then hit participating stores between December 3rd and December 6th. All participants will also have access to complimentary gift-wrapping and concierge services abound.
If you can’t attend in person, you can still participate! Champions for Charity will make pre-shopping and personal shopping available to all who want to support the LGBTcommunity! Just contact Danielle Merollo at 516.627.2277or [email protected] and they will work with you to select and purchase merchandise qualified to support the LGBT Network.
